I got my 2011 MSR Hubba Hubba from Elite Mountain Supplies for £225 and that included a Petzl Tikkina 2 Head Torch, apparently worth £20
The MSR Hubba Hubba HP is an ultralight freestanding 2 person shelter that uses a highly protective technical fabric. It features an all-new all-in-one hub-and-swivel pole design that is strong and easy to use for a quick and easy set up, and has a unique pole configuration that maximises interior space. In addition, the 3 setup options, 2 full-size stay-dry entrances and large vestibules makes the MSR Hubba Hubba tent the best selling Fast & Light tent in the world.
Features I like
I love that it packs so small and is so damn quick to put up. I love the ventilation of the mesh inner, perfect for hot nights and star gazing when the rainfly isn’t needed. There’s lots of room inside and with two vestibules plenty of space to store gear. I do prefer the green to the yellow rainfly but I admit I would prefer a slightly darker green if only to better suit my stealth camping needs. It’s self standing so it’s easy to move if needed and is pitchable even on hard ground.
What I dislike
The price is quite high but I got a bargain. I do prefer the green to the yellow but I admit I would prefer it slightly darker green if only to better suit my stealth camping needs. Guylines have to be purchased separately although they’re really not needed.
